Antireflection treatment on one side
It is possible to enhance the quality of a sapphire crystal to an even greater extent by providing it with an anti-reflective coating on one or both sides. The Certina brand is becoming increasingly focussed on equipping its timepieces with an extremely high-quality anti-reflective coating on both sides, whereby several layers of this coating on both sides of the crystal ensure that it is possible to see through the timepieces in an optimum manner.

A divers' watch is a water-resistant and pressure-resistant wristwatch. Certina tests each and every one of these timepieces in water for three hours, as is required by ISO standard 6425.
