PR Event Austria - November 6, 2008

Christian Klien, official test driver for the BMW Sauber F1 Team, was on hand on November 6 for a special CERTINA PR event held at Vienna's Donauzentrum.

Christian Klien, official test driver for the BMW Sauber F1 Team, was on hand on November 6 for a special CERTINA PR event held at Vienna's Donauzentrum. Moderated by well-known sports journalist Heinz Prüller, the event marked the launch of the DS Podium 'big size' product line in Austria. During the proceedings, Christian was presented with a unique, custom issue of this new timepiece model, featuring a colour engraving of his helmet on its case back. A second, identical model will be given to the Radio Ö3 broadcasting station for its special on-air Christmas auction in the coming weeks.
Entertainment also ranked high on the agenda, and saw CERTINA President Adrian Bosshard and Austria Country Manager Rudolf Semrad team up in a timed pit-stop-style wheel change, while Christian simultaneously faced the daunting task of shortening a steel watch bracelet by removing a few links. Christian won the contest by a small margin, and everyone had a truly great time.
