Polish kart racing saw some outstanding and memorable action on November 16, with no less than F1 star Robert Kubica on hand for the show.

In a special event to highlight his official start in Formula 1 in 2006, and to also mark the launch of the new DS Podium Square, Certina’s talented ultra-fast ambassador was presented with a specially-engraved DS Podium Square bearing the inscription “Congratulations on your first podium - Monza 2006″. Going out before everyone else on the karting track and blazing through seven laps, Robert set times that journalists and representatives then hoped to beat–an impossible task, though great fun for all attending. After Robert’s promising showing at Budapest and again at Monza, he finished the season with notable brio and is the hot driver to watch out for in 2007.
