CERTINA – Official Partner of the BMW Sauber F1 team – is delighted to welcome Spanish racing driver Pedro de la Rosa as an ambassador for the brand starting this year. De la Rosa is known as one of the drivers with the greatest expertise and a natural capacity for all things technical. After several years as an F1 test driver, the Spaniard feels right at home in his new team and is returning to racing as a driver with a great deal of motivation and a thirst for action.

Pedro de la Rosa was born in Barcelona on 24 February 1971 and has a long career in motorsport behind him. For the last seven years (2003-2009), Pedro had been employed as test and reserve driver for McLaren Mercedes, but always believed that he would make a comeback as a racing driver. He was right. This year, he will compete in the F1 season as a team driver for the BMW Sauber F1 team alongside Kamui Kobayashi.
